FAQs

All new projects start with the inquiry form. If we’re a good fit, I’ll have you book a video consultation where we can review the details of your project and go over the tattoo process together. For larger works, we’ll schedule a secondary check-in called a Draw Check prior to our first scheduled tattoo appointment where we will review drafts and discuss composition and details. After collecting our notes, I’ll work through edits and send you a final drawing the morning of our tattoo appointment.

Custom paintings start with a video consultation to better understand the imagery/color palette/mood and where the final piece will be hung. We’ll spend our consultation reviewing these details and answering any questions about the painting process. After our consultation, a check-in will be scheduled to finalize composition and subject drafts before the painting process is started. Paintings can be picked up during a studio visit or shipped upon request.

It happens more than you’d think! If you enjoy my style and have a specific placement you’d like to fill, I can work with you in our consultation to brainstorm some options for subject. Sometimes it’s helpful to have a general “mood” for the project or even just a basic color palette to work off of. I keep an abundance of reference material for projects that are more open ended. Our draw check becomes very important for these inquiries since we’ll use the time to narrow down exactly what will work best for you.

TATTOOS: Current rates are at $230/hour and require a drawing fee/deposit dependent on the scale of your project.
PAINTINGS: Paintings are priced according to the size of the work. To help assist in making a custom work more manageable, payment plans can be arranged upon request.

TATTOOS: The tattoo concepts I’m most excited about are ones that flow with the body. Although this doesn’t necessarily mean large-scale, larger tattoos are often easier to achieve good movement across the form. I’m currently enjoying designing different themed lady portraits/skeletal forms/flowing ornamentals/historic + religious inspired imagery.
PAINTINGS: I am currently only accepting commissions that fall within my current series of work. The series features a gradient textured background with historically inspired hands interacting with an object. For these commissions I’ll be taking requests for specific color palettes and themes or objects that speak to you.

My home studio is based in Denver, Colorado. With that said, I frequently return to Sacramento, California to work on my own bodysuit progress and guest at the respective studio. Sacramento appointments are limited to my own travel time and still require a consultation to book, so it is advised to schedule a consultation to get on the upcoming list for future dates. Trips are typically booked every 2-3 months on a revolving basis.
